Mandy L. Warthan, M.D.

Dr. Warthan is Double Board Certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology; fewer than 3% of Dermatologists become Dermatopathologists. This demanding discipline is focused on the microscopic diagnosis of skin cancers, moles, and other complex skin diseases.

Dr. Warthan grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas – in a medical family; both her father and sister are also Dermatologists. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University and received her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Warthan completed her Dermatology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She then completed a Dermapathology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

Dr. Warthan has published extensively in academic journals and has been quoted in the New York Times. She is respected by her peers as an accomplished Dermatologist with genuine empathy for her patients. Dr. Warthan is highly trained in the latest developments in aesthetic Dermatology, as well as the prevention and treatment of skin cancer and other diseases. Dr. Warthan looks forward to providing you with the knowledge and expertise you need to receive the dermatologic care you deserve.

Dr. Warthan and the staff at Warthan Dermatology Center treat diseases of the skin in patients of all ages. Medical treatments include skin cancer surgery, mole removal, acne, rosacea, skin cancer screenings, psoriasis, and eczema. Our cosmetic services include BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and fillers like Juvéderm® and Restylane®, Fractional Laser Resurfacing for deeper wrinkles and acne scars, Spider Vein Treatment, Laser Hair Removal, Photofacials for brown age spots and sun freckles, Chemical Peels, and Latisse® prescriptions.

Dr. Warthan is committed to volunteering her time to others by participating in Melanoma Monday through the American Academy of Dermatology. She also actively participates in the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, the Ronald McDonald House, and Young Texans Against Cancer.

Robert E. Marinaro, M.D.

Dr. Marinaro is a board certified Dermatologist. He grew up in New Jersey, and graduated with a B.S. degree, Phi Beta Kappa with Honors, from Rutgers College. After completing his medical degree at the University of Rochester, Dr. Marinaro remained in New York at the University of Rochester for two years of an Internal Medicine residency. He then went on to complete his Dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. His final year of residency he was selected as the Chief Resident, where his responsibilities included supervising all of the Clinica Research Studies performed by the Case Western University Department of Dermatology.

Before moving to Texas in 2012, Dr. Marinaro opened and managed his own private practice in New Jersey for 25 years. He was the first Dermatologic Laser surgeon in Morris County, NJ, and was the co-founder of one of the first Vein Treatment Centers in New Jersey. He has been published in numerous academic journals, and has been honored as an educational speaker for many medical, pharmaceutical and laser companies, as well as serving on the medical advisory boards for many pharmaceutical companies. Prior to moving to Texas, he was voted from 2006-20012 as a Top Doc in New Jersey Monthly, NJ Savvy, and Castle Connolly. He was on the cover of New Jersey Physician Magazine in 2010, and was a frequent medical contributor to the internet radio show “Daytime with Donna”.

Dr. Marinaro is dedicated to both the science and art of Dermatology. He provides the most current and effective treatments in medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures to patients of all ages. Treating patients with compassion and personalized attention is rewarding to him, and he feels fortunate to be in a field of medicine that he enjoys so immensely. Before joining Warthan Dermatology Center, he practiced in Plano, Arlington, and Mesquite. He lives in McKinney with his family and is active in the community. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, The Texas Medical Association, and The DFW Dermatology Society. He volunteers annually in the Melanoma Monday free skin cancer screening.
